In the little village of Assinghausen in the German region Sauerland, centrally positioned between Winterberg and Willingen with its restaurants and shops. Hotel “Haus Erlen” has been for many years a comfortable family hotel. The Dutch owner Bert Veldkamp and his wife Madeleine are looking forward to welcome you.

The area around Assinghausen is rural. The village centre with traditional timbered cottages is well renowned. A recommended visit lies ahead. It is no surprise that Assinghausen has been elected “Bundesgolddorf” and “Rosendorf” (village of roses).

The surrounding area of Assinghausen offers ample opportunities for outdoor activities like hill climbing (Bruchhauser Steine), walking (Hochheide near Niedersfeld), Nordic Walking or (mountain) biking.
